My work is based on gathering the ever-changing colours, textures and atmosphere of the beautiful landscape.
I get a lot of joy from walking with my dog here in rural Dorset. It’s my solace and makes me feel exhilarated and recharged and am always blown away when immersed in this natural beauty.
Back home in my studio I work mainly in oil and cold wax to convey this feeling by building up layers and details to capture the beauty and joy of the rural and coastal landscapes.
